Meet the World First $9 Microcomputer.

A company, name Next thing.co has invented the world first $9 microcomputer called C.H.I.P. In the previous year, they launched Otto, a gif camera which became very popular. The open source microcomputer C.H.I.P popularized by Raspberry Pi. C.H.I.P is just a single circuit board with no screen or keyboard though you can connect it with your monitor and keyboard wirelessly.

C.H.I.P has 1GHz processor, 512 DDR3 RAM, 4GB storage and a micro USB port (with OTG functionality). An 820.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 has also included.

Here is the list of things that C.H.I.P can do.

1) C.H.I.P works with every types of screens, it does not really matter whether the screen is small or old. You can connect C.H.I.P with its built in composite output or via HDMI or VGA adapter.

2) Using chromium-browser you can surf Internet with C.H.I.P. You can browse any site you want including YouTube.

3) C.H.I.P is an excellent programming teacher. It comes with pre-loaded easy to learn language that teaches the basics of programming by making stories, animations, and games. Cool! Is not it?

4) Here is the fun part of C.H.I.P. You can play 1000 of games using C.H.I.P (both retro and new) even dos games can be played by C.H.I.P.

5) C.H.I.P can support many apps. it can run all kind of free apps from any open source community. Its power full enough to run any kind of software.

6) Pocket C.H.I.P ( a device made of C.H.I.P.) have 4.3-inch touch screen with resistive touch and 5 hours battery backup(3000 mAh ). Pocket C.H.I.P is also fully open source. In $49 you can buy pocket C.H.I.P with a free C.H.I.P.

7) By attaching your speaker with C.H.I.P, you can listen to your favourite music with full volume.

8) C.H.I.P is power full to do any kind of work. You can use C.H.I.P. with Libre Office to create word documents, edit spreadsheets, or craft presentation.
