The Story Behind the Stand-Up Comedian.
Every man have a story behind his success. Kapil Sharma is also one of them. His father who died in Cancer was the Head constable of the police dept in Punjab. His mother is a house wife. He studied in Hindu College in Amritsar. Before coming to the comedy line he used to be a singer. His friend who is a guitarist used to guide him in his singing career. Kapil has recently admitted that his sense of humor is a gift from his Mother. Actually he got his first big break in 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge' in which he was the winner of the show and won 10 lakhs Rs/- as prize money (in which 3 Lakhs was TDS). He is a big fan of Charlie Chaplin.
Sharma has been nominated for 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In 2012, he won the 'Indian Television Academy Awards' for being the best comedy actor. In 2013, he won the CNN-IBN Indian of the Year award. Here is a big good news for Kapil fans, recently he has played the Lead role in the comedy base movie 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karu' directed by Abbas Mastan.
